Dr. Janet Crino graduated from Boston University School of Medicine in 1987, after receiving a bachelor of science with honors in chemistry from Boston College.  She completed her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, where she also fulfilled an additional year as Chief Pediatric Resident, and joined Advocare Society Hill Pediatrics in 1991.

Erin L McArdle, MD is a board certified pediatrician and diplomat of the American academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia after earning her B.S. in Biology at the Pennsylvania State University. She completed her pediatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University/duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.

Katie Warther, MD grew up in the Philadelphia area. She attended Kenyon College in Ohio, where she studied Spanish Literature. After college, Dr. Warther did a year of service with AmeriCorps, which inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. She completed a postbaccalaureate premedical program at New York University and attended the University of Vermont for medical school. She then completed her training at the University of California Los Angeles for her Pediatrics Residency.

Dr. Jordan Chu graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and received his medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He then completed his pediatric residency training here in Philadelphia at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He loved Philadelphia so much that he decided to stay in the area and join Advocare Society Hill Pediatrics.

Dr. Gail Waltz graduated with a B.A. in Biology from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, before receiving her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She stayed in Pittsburgh to complete her pediatric residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she developed a passion for primary care pediatrics. She particularly enjoys working with and supporting new parents, caring for children as they progress through all stages of development, and partnering with children and their families during times of both wellness and illness. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, skiing, and spending time with her dog and husband, who is also a pediatrician.

Beverly Viscusi earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and is certified as both a nurse practitioner and lactation consultant. 

Shobha Sharma received a bachelor's degree in biology from Bryn Mawr College in 1993.  She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing in 1999 and master's degree in nursing in 2000,  both from the University of Pennsylvania.  She became a certified nurse practitioner in 2001 and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP).

Karla Kornsey, APN is board certified in Pediatrics - Primary Care and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She graduated nursing school from Drexel University. Karla spent her bedside career in critical care at the NICU at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and in the PICU at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Recently, she has obtained her masters from Drexel University as a nurse practitioner and is excited to join our team to provide the best care for all of our patients.

Maureen O'Brien brings 30 years of pediatric nursing experience to Advocare Society Hill Pediatrics. She holds Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing.

June brings over 30 years of varied nursing experience to Advocare Society HIll Pediatrics.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Neumann University in 1991 and her Certification in School Nursing from West Chester University in 2007.

Jessica Stickley has been in the nursing field for more than 40 years.  She graduated from the Temple University School of Nursing in 1977 and received her master's degree in nursing from Villanova University in 1986.
