Dr. Gail Waltz graduated with a B.A. in Biology from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, before receiving her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She stayed in Pittsburgh to complete her pediatric residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she developed a passion for primary care pediatrics. She particularly enjoys working with and supporting new parents, caring for children as they progress through all stages of development, and partnering with children and their families during times of both wellness and illness.
 
In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, skiing, and spending time with her dog and husband, who is also a pediatrician.
